It is truly an honor and privilege to have been selected as the Chief of Police at Calhoun Community College. I look forward to being a part of the campus community and working with the members of the campus police department in providing a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. As the chief of police, I will ensure our police department uses each day to focus on crime prevention and emergency preparedness to ensure Calhoun remains a safe campus. Our focus will be to meet the expectations that the campus community has on its public safety by being highly visible, respond quickly to emergency situations, and be a service and results oriented department.
Please take a moment to review our police page for important safety and security information. The 2022 Annual Security Report is full of important information for students and parents. This report is due to be updated in October of this year and will be published on this site. We have also added a section in the “Bulletin”, the campus newsletter, that gives updated crime prevention information and emphasizes “If you See Something, Say Something” campaign which reminds us to trust our instincts and call campus police when you become aware of suspicious activity or behavior. During my years in law enforcement I’ve realized how important it is that we work together and communicate with each other because community safety is everyone’s responsibility and public safety is most effective when we are in partnership with the community.
When you see or hear suspicious information or activity and you get that information to us, we can prevent serious issues from occurring and keep the community safer.
If I may be of any assistance to you please do not hesitate to call or email me.
Thanks again and stay safe!
