Traditional classes are held on campus during the designated days and times. The Campus will be DEC (Decatur), HSV (Huntsville), or ACA (Alabama Center for the Arts/Downtown Decatur). These courses will also list the building name and classroom number.

Distance Learning classes are 100% online classes. Students will submit assignments via Blackboard. No virtual meetings will be required. Course section numbers will begin with a W (Ex: ENG 101 W01).

Synchronous Distance Learning classes are offered completely online. Students will meet virtually with their instructor via Blackboard Collaborate during specific days/times each week. Course section numbers will begin with an S (Ex. BIO 201 S01)

Hybrid courses will have required meetings on campus and required assignments online. Hybrids typically meet once per week or less for lectures or labs. Course section numbers will begin with an H (Ex: ENG 101 H01).

Hy-Flex courses offer students the option to attend in-person or participate virtually via Blackboard Collaborate. Students have the option to change their mode of attendance from week to week. Course section numbers will begin with an F (Ex: MUS 101 F01).
