Calhoun’s Distance Learning Department is committed to ensuring the quality of our online courses. Since 2015, we have partnered with Quality Matters (QM), an organization dedicated to helping institutions create quality online courses. Currently, all distance learning faculty undergo training and course reviews using a custom QM rubric. The Calhoun’s Online Review of Excellence rubric is made up of QM standards as well as local Calhoun standards. This helps us ensure our online classes are equivalent in quality to our courses that are offered in a traditional, face-to-face, format.
